Luke 12:48, “…From everyone who has been given much, much will be demanded; and from the one who has been entrusted with much, much more will be asked.”
God has blessed Meryl and I with more than we deserve. In fact we do not deserve anything. But because of God’s great mercy he has given us much and ingrained in us the desire to make sure that others are impacted by his great blessings.
Matthew 25: 35-36, “For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.”
Instead of question why, for us, it is why not? We did not get to choose where we came from or who our family is. Instead God invites us into His family, no matter who you are. God shows up in many ways to help people, and we want to be used as one of his ways to bless others.
